OS: Windows 7 (x64)
CPU: Intel Quad Core
Router: Actiontec Q1000
Server: Installed dedicated server via the commandline update utility. The dedicated server is standalone, i.e. I am notalso trying to play on it.
Port: I forwarded 27015 UDP (and TCP as well to be sure) on my router to my server machine.
Symptoms: The server starts fine. When I run STATUS from the console, here's the output:
I can connect successfully to the server from my client machine if I connect via the local IP. I can check my various loadouts and see that I have my unlocks as I should, so I believe the server is communicating with Steam?
The problem I have is that I'm unable to either see the server on the Master server list, nor am I able to connect to it directly by going to the external IP. I've run portforward.com's Port Forward Test utility on the server and it now confirms 27015 is open on UPD/TCP once I set up the forwarding rules on my router.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be? I'm at my wits end here...
