Nah it shouldn't do anything at all. If it gets that popup you'll have to use another program/batch file. I don't remember its name, unfortunately. As the one from the tutorials only will start the server incase of a plugin shutdown or a RCon command(exit, _restart or quit).

The -autoupdate on Windows is broken, so it basicly does not do anything.

I don't think the batch is complex enough for such a task.

You can try to disable windows error reporting and there's a chance the error won't popup Smile

At the moment I use server checker. Here is a link

http://www.dumbclan.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=5784

Auto restarts the server even when it times out or has an error popup and doesn't close the window.

Never used the batch file not sure if it checks for server time outs.

At the moment i use the Srcds.com Watchdog batch script to start and restart my server, but that did not help with when an on screen error came up which required me to click ok... So i was browsing the forums and found this little srcds crash catcher, that automatically clicks the Ok button for you... you can download it off my web server if you want Labeled "srcdsCrashCatcher.zip". Address: http://bryant101.dyndns.org . Just remember to make sure it is always running Wink

I had the same issue with all my windows servers, and error reporting didnt help, it just removed the button "tell microsoft about this problem"

I get the error"

"srcds.exe has stopped responding" when the server crashes / typing quit in rcon.
I have to remote in and click okay, but that was a while ago, I just let a gamepanel manage it now.
