You can rent a pre-made server from a GSP company which will generally give you FTP access to files and some sort of web back-end for restarting the server.

The other option is to rent a Dedicated Server which would give you more control over the games and servers that are running. However, they are MUCH more expensive.

lol, you might be right...
Renting a server officially requires a lot of work. You need to give them a web back-end and ftp access. You also need you server in a data center so you can guarantee speeds. I would NOT recommend renting a server unless you have serious plans.

Yes you can rent admin slots, but all most no one is interested in that. If you're looking to make money, its not going to happen.

Not to mention anyone purchasing admin slots will most certainly abuse the admin powers just because they paid for it...

There are lots of different thoughts on weather selling reserved slots or admin rights work. Generally you wont get many sales. Also, in order for people to really be interested you need a very popular server. No one is going to buy admin on a server no one plays on.
