respawn time

up untill now i have left the respawn time at default i have tryed to change it in the past but it nerver works the command im useing is mp_respawntime im useing it in the startup command atm but have tryed to put it in the server cfg before but it does the same thing for both there both random some times its 5 (5 is what i set it to) some times its 18 so im not sure if respawning has any thing to do with how long you live or not but it just seems its 100% random so i wanted to know if im not useing the right command or put noting it in the right spot any help would be great

What do you mean by respawning? As in cssdm? Or the time before you can kill yourself again.

by respawn time i mean the time it takes to spawn again after you die.
also here is my start up command and server cfg

add mp_respawnwavetime 5 to your server.cfg and arena_config.cfg files

hmm that worked for a bit then it started going random again working its way up as in it started at 5 then went to 10 then 11 ect

mp_respawnwavetime just adjusts the average spawn time. If you want it set to 5 seconds, you can install BM. The "old respawn" way will let to set a max number of seconds.

Does that make sence?
