Hi, I'm experiencing an odd problem. For a long while I've had problems with srcds randomly crashing my servers, and not just crashing the srcds process.. the entire computer shuts down. What sucks even more is that I don't get any error messages in my logs.. the computer just freezes and shuts down. My first guess was that it was some sort of hardware failure but I'm experiering the same problem on five machines (with the exakt same hardwaresetup). To make it even better our L4D-servers works perfectly fine on the same machines..
It's not in the config I guess since I'm using the same one on other servers (different ISP and machines though).
I've tried pretty much everyting I can think of to solve this problem. Does anyone have any clue what the problem may be? Or perhaps any ideas what else I can try to at least find the problem.

Try it with a basic startup command, most of the things you have inn there can be placed in the serer.cfg
"-console -game cstrike -port 27017 -tickrate 100 +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust2"
Do you have any addons at all?

Power supply failures, cpu overheat protection, memory bad, leaking capacitor... can be alot of hardware issues even if they work the same on other machinse

Thanks for trying but as I said I'm experiencing the same problem on five machines with the exakt same setup. And I can run a couple of hlds or L4D (srcds) without a problem.
I'm trying to update drivers and windows update right now.. hoping that might do the trick.

They might be the exact same machines, but all parts can have defects...

Of course they could... but since L4D and hlds seems to work that seems highly unlikely

L4D and hlds don't use as much resources as a 100 tick 12 slot css

Last two times the server crashed with just me on it. Meanwhile I've been running three eight spots L4D-servers without a problem.
