Question
I recently switched over from teh GUI dedicated server that comes with steam, to this srcds. The new server runs fine, and people are always joining it. But when it first starts up, or goes to a new map, i get a bunch of errors.

Thats really weird. I would suggest ( even though you may not want to do it ) erasing your SRCDS dir and downloading everything again.

I have already done that once. I am still getting the errors. The server runs perfect though, its just very annoying when i start the server to have to go through all the errors before it starts.

You do have -game cstrike right? Those look like a lot of HL2 sound files.

Hmmm, I dont know what to tell you. Did you have errors downloading the files during your SRCDS install?

Yes, i did get an error, i couldn't even reinstall it at first. I got this error: Connection Reset, Winsock Error 10054 "connection reset by peer", but after a few times I was able to reinstall. All seems to work fine for my server too, but i'm still getting these errors.

Are you able to play on the server without missing important sounds? Can you play on your server in that state?
