Game Server directory

Hey guys,

I have started a new directory for game hosts.
A directory is a simply and easy way for people to find hosts when they are looking to purchase a server for the first time
or if they are unhappy with their current game server provider. It would be good if we could get a few overseas hosts added as well.


Reason for submitting your site:
- Its quick, Simply and free
- Helps SEO for your site
- Builds traffic to your site
- Gets the name of your site/company out there.

Also if people are interested im going to add a few hosts to the featured links section to fill it up until the site gets a bit more popular.

Well in several ways this is good. But could be abused. I will wait for Mooga or King to reply.

Well if all people could post companies, as it is buisness, I think the one company guy would rate others lower and themself higher.

Not sure i understand what you are trying to say, however people can only add themselves and are unable to edit themselves or other people's posts.

If your saying that the i could abuse it than i could if i was running a GSP however im not so i have no interest in giving anyone rankings.. just made it because im interested in keeping up with all the current GSP's etc.

The current ranking system is based on page rank. it could be changed to list most hits first as well. it has no ranking from a human :p

Guy had a company. He made a list of companies in his country. And nobody knew those others or his. So he gave himself MUCH better credit than normal.

But yes, if it all where in a list. Like where admins could edit to enter the informations, that would be nice. Or in your first post there.

gspreport.com is the same thing, it is run by fame networks, which has grown popularity since the site came up.(aka. rigged reviews)

Oh ok i see what you mean.. Well thats kinda why i did it to give a lot of the smaller GSP's a go as a lot of small GSP's don't get seen and having them in a list with a lot of larger GSP's could help them get customers.

ATM it has no review function however that may be incorporated. However if you wanted to add all these GSP's you have had experiences with then you could, there is no limit to how many companies you can add from the one IP. its about getting the name of as many GSP's out there.

You got a good idea - but like he said above can see abuse. Just put into place not so much a voting system or ranking, but just a general yellow pages list.

Comments and reviews get out of hand. You always get that one customer that cries and kills it for the company only cause they a crying kid that doesnt understand what they did wrong and feel they should blame someone else.

But generally you got an idea, just stay away from a review site.

Thanks for the advice.

I have no plans to have reviews or rankings per for sites. Its purely just going to be a directly to help people get there name out there on a different site.
