Whats your boot time?

i dont get it how others get there boot time down to like less then 30secs.. ive done all i can think of . even on a fresh install i dont et under 1 minute x[

ok when do u start counting? cuz i staret as soon as i hit the power button. am i doin ir correctly?

what do you mean boot, like when windows starts to idle? or when the pc logins

Mine is also about 30 seconds and i start counting as soon as i hit the power button.

What so you define as boot time? From The time the power button is pressed until the welcome screen? From Post till a complete log in?

start>run>msconfig>Disable all startup programs Toungue I will go try to see how fast i can boot.

15 Seconds from time of button push to login screen, then another 20 seconds after until I can launch firefox.

3:30....., Asus P6T Delux is the slowest booting motherboad ever... then again once it boots I have a clocked i7 and a 4870x2 to play with... so the time spend waiting for it too boot is chopped away with 8 threads >;]

40-50 seconds. 50 with the boot screen between Windows 7 and XP, I would guess 40 without. Smile
