Friends can join I cant?????
#1
Hey there.
This is so weird.
I just installed my SRCDS on my laptop (Vista).
Ive been using SRCDS on my XP before, no problems at all.

Now, as I just had it running, I tried to join my own server.
After 2 boxes of loading (Connection to server) this message comes up "Failed connection after 4 retries"

Weird thing comes here...

My friends can actually join it, and play with no problems.
Bots can too. o:
So weird..

EDIT; Ok, just found out. When SRCDS is running, I cant join any servers, at all. When I exit, I can play properly.

I need help here .. Tried everything.

Not a problem at all, should it be a problem, just because Im on vista?

EDIT; No thanks, to all the "Thats stupid bla bla" posts, thanks Smile

That didnt help at all..
As said, on my XP I can a 12 slot, 66 tick server, with 300-500 fps daily.
It wont be a problem at all to run it, just need to know what Ive done wrong, as Im on vista.

There is a way of changing your client port. I'm not sure how, but that tends to help.
