right could someone explain ... ive been doing a little reading on aimbots and came across darkstorm2_1.exe its a plugin for TF2 that allows you to auto aim.
Ive seen people use these on various servers but can you tell me if i use this on my own and/or other servers is there a chance my ill get a VAC ban ?
and no im not shit i just want to try it out just incase i ever need to seriously pwn anyone

well for one i think i speak for every one when i say we don't like hackers and don't support it, and yes you can allwyas get vac baned

Yes, you can get banned off any server with VAC on. Valve can detect in-game enhancements, and will auto ban you about 2 weeks later after Valve review.

even if i disable the vac protection on srcds and its run on my machine ?

If you type -insecure at the end of your startup line, it will make your server non-vac, but then you will be a hacker magnet.

ill be running it as a lan server anyway for testing maps ...
and then using the aim bot wont ban me from steam / steam servers ?
i just want to be shure b/c when my mate comes to play @ mine & test his maps i wanna own his ass for a laugh

If you do -insecure, you can use the hack. But I really wouldn't play around with it...

Or just run a non steam version of it, and run a non steam server
