what does couldn't exec 1 refer to?

if my server is not on the list does that mean its not working?

It does work, people just cant see it on the master list, porbably a port forwarding problem. There are dozens of posts about port forwading here so just open up one.

exec 1 means the file 1 doesnt exist or cannot be opened/read/whatever. You have to put the file extension behind, for example 1.cfg

I don't understand. so 1 is a file? where do i find it and if i have to make it what do i put on it and where do i put it?

Well the server thinks its a file, its searching for it, doesnt mean it exists thats why it cant execute it.

I however have no idea where that comes from, you probably specified something like exec 1 in some cfg file. Normally it doesnt do that.
The file should be in the cfg folder

It seems as though my server is working with or without the 1 file. however, there seems to have been connection problems for some people.

cole-x you may want to change your rcon password now since the whole world can see it.

you will not see your own server on the master list. If you want to check to see if your server is posted online go to gametiger.com and query your servers ip address. Also in your previous post what is it you want to fix?

No one can see their own server. You play on your own server by going under the LAN tab. LAN = Local area network. It seems you had to some port forwarding, so that would mean you know the the internal ip address of your own server. You could also use that to connect. Bad challenge and old challenge is good. It's the old query system for servers.

i see my own server in the lan tab but none of my friends can see it on the internet even though some people have connected on it since its been running.

none of my friends can find it on the internet tab and when i join it they cant find it on the friends tab. why is it that other people have joined it even though u cant find it on the internet tab. HELP!
