[RESOLVED]server command problems

i am trying to ttype in commands to my tf2 server but in the console it says not running server anyone know how to fix this

Are you typing it into your ingame console or SRCDS console?

i made a server i am trying to take control in my ingame console but when i type things like changelevel pl_badwater it says not running server but i dont understand i am running the server can anyone help with this?

As Mooga said you have to use rcon so type:

when i type rcon changelevel pl_badwater it says bad rcon password?

Before issuing an rcon command you need to put rcon_password yourpassword to authenticate yourself.
