Is it true that if you specify sv_downloadurl, if the server can't find the file at the specified location, it simply won't send that file to a client?
I used to only use that for hosting large maps. I'd throw them onto my webserver, to balance the load a bit. However, I'm assuming that after an update, Valve changed it so all files that are sent to the client must be on that fastdl server. Can anyone confirm this?
I have the latest version of everything. The only cvars I can think of that may affect this are sv_allowdownload and allowupload, both of which I have set to 1.
