Well, i wouldnt really run a server and client on the same machine, but you could for example, run the server in a virtual machine (performance might get worse)

It would be MUCH WORSE!!! i would use double resources and server would lag definitely!!! I have a laptop and i can run the server from there, but it's Wireless connected (=LOSS) and it has worse hardware than my pc does!!! Why does Valve have to do such bullshit? Before i could run server and client (I know it isn't the best solution) in the same pc with no connectivity problems... Laptop Hardware: CPU : Intel Celeron 550 2.0GHz Ram : 1GB Internet Downstream: ~ 7000 kbps Upstream : ~ 900 kbps Would It be OK to run it in the laptop?????
