#1
Would it be realistic to get 64 66 tick CS:S slots (edit: per core) on a dual 2.5Ghz Harpertown system?

On a Dual Quad Core for 64 slots... Of course you could easily have 4x that amount.

Thanks guys, do you think it could be done at 333 or 500 fps?

Would you say half that many slots for TF2?

I even think you could get 500FPS.....however someone a bit more experienced better answer that one.

TF2, on our 2.5Ghz Quad, we get 1 32 slot, 33 tick TF2 server on each core.

66 or 33 tick I THINK, you might be able to get 75...but 33 tick is fine for TF2.

From the day TF2 was released till now it has been impossible to get a tickrate higher than 66, it's simply hardcoded into the orange engine.

Do you know what your average CPU usage is with a full load?
