A few questions again...
#1
I am sorry but I am posting about co-location again in a different topic since that one is old now, hope that one could be removed if necessarily.

I got few main questions, whats the upload SPEED I am going to need to use for about 6 to 8 servers from a rackmount server.

which would be the best to send it to?
T1 Co-Location
10 Mbit
100 Mbit

THanks, I might have some more questions in the future but hope somebody will be able to answer these at least Smile

thanks, whats the upload speed I am going to need then?

Note: A friend of mine is getting a T1 connection and he is going to be hosting websites on some other servers.

is that enough for me to run a game server on? since its not going to be shared to any other gaming servers.

T1 is just over 1.5MBit. You can't run a game server on a T1 line.

Yeah T1's are actually pretty useless for SRCDS game servers. If you have a small website, it's fine though. Also the 100 mbit is the upload. Now I also have a question for you, are you colocating your server?

Yes I am going to colocate my server.

well I have two choices, I have got the T1 choice with a company that is only going to host their site on it.

and I have a choice of this option which I don't know if it would be enough ether.
Quote:1U rackmount server colocation. Included 2 amps power and one 10mbit burstable line in. This is a promotional deal that includes 1mbit of bandwidth commit billed on 95th percentile. /29 initial ip allocation, additional with justification.
