GMod PropHunt, Models not being able to spawn as props
#1
Hello guys,

you are probably not used to me asking a question, well normally I don't but I'm short of time lately and really don't have time to copy/paste/download gigs of data all the time to fix the errors anymore.

So what did I do so far:
1. Install GMod SRCDS in C:\Garrysmod2
2. Install CS: S SRCDS in C:\Garrysmod2

3. Extract the prop-hunt folder into the C:\Garrysmod2\orangebox\garrysmod\gamemodes directory.

What happens:
So now I start up the garrysmod server with defaultgamemode prop-hunt
First of all when I start up it comes with an error the map is missing, it's searching in the garrysmod maps while it SHOULD search in the CS: S maps folder instead. To fix this I just copied the map to the garrysmod maps folder.
When I start up the server I get loads of errors while loading a CS: Source map, like cs_office. Now all starts up fine the server is online but then however, when I get in, pretty much all models like the cabinets, computer, keyboard, trashcans etc. can be walk through (no collision) and they are NOT props but they are part of the map. (Which kinda blows the whole prop-hunt since you can't turn into it since it's not a prop!)

The errors:
1. Failed to load $include VMT file xxx/xxx/xxx
2. ERROR! Can't create physics object for xxx/xxx/xxx

What I tried:
I copied the CS: S materials, models and maps into the folder of garrysmod (add them to the garrysmod materials) however the same happens...
Tried all kinds of combinations but it never seems to work and I keep getting the above error.

I searched for help but there doesn't seem to be a support website anywhere nor can I get a hold of the creator of the mod.
Has anyone ever installed and got one of these running?

Alright I got this fixed with some help, seems after installing the css files you had to move the cstrike folder to the orangebox folder in order to load the materials/models/etc.

Would've been nice if they add that to the manual somewhere!

All works now Smile

The second method for profiting from non-vocation work is to work at the Post office on a part-time premise and have one more task to fill in when you are free. For instance, a Postmaster Help typically just works on Saturday to fill in postofficeslocation.com for the Postmaster on their three-day weekend. Along these lines, the PMR can land one more position to fill in certain hours during the week.

Facilitate the prerequisite for acquiring section into instructor education programs. When, for instance, the second cluster of UTDBE understudies were conceded, I can norstrat with certainty that passage prerequisites into the CoEs were not stuck to.
