Simple bandwidth/switch question
#1
I just got my hands on an old 10MBit switch. Would this be any use for a small LAN party (Assuming I have a DHCP Server)? I know file transfer would be slow, but would gaming be decent?

Thanks!

It's probably way faster than your current internet connection (upload), so yeah it would be pretty ok to host on, just don't over do the file transfers Big Grin
