Hi.
I have a typical question of how many slots (tick100, CS:S) can it handle:
Dual Xeon 2.66GHz (dual-core, 4 cores total)
1Gb RAM (can be 2Gb if needed)
73Gb UW SCSI HDD
thanks.

I would say about 150 @ 100 tick... I think that CPU is p4 architecture, unless it's a new core/core2 then perhaps 200...

I think the 2,66GHz is the new dual core version E5xxx or something?

Well... the original poster really needs to include CPU info - specifically the model/architecture...

I've contacted the hoster, currently there are 2x Intel® Xeon CPU 3.00GHz, dual-core each with HT (act like 8 CPU total), Signature: Type 0, Family 15, Model 6, Stepping 4.
For the signature, it's look like P4-based CPUs. So it's most likely 5000-series Dempsey core.

Since it's P4 based, I reckon 150 would be the max you'd get on it...

Agree on that totally, might be even less, 100 should be very possible though.
