The only thing i changed in this was the server name, the region location to zero and the password.

The server will work fine and let players join, however, when i suicide(i used demoman and soldier), there will be no respawn timing and then the server will crash giving me WARNING CONNECTION ERROR.

Doesn't have anything to do with the config I think, did you install any mods?

no mods were installed

just recently, it said i had to update my server so i did that and so far the suicide crashing has stopped

if it comes back, i will alert you but thanks a lot for your help ;]

Probably a basic question, but I setup my TF2 server with this thread (many thanks btw), but now I need to update it.

Hello, new to this server thingy, i created the server.cfg file as textdocument and placed it in C:\srcds\orangebox\tf\cfg. How do i do so when i start the server it will use these settings?

It will automaticly load it, you just have to insert the CVars. Smile

Whats the cvar to set to make it so dead players can only see players on their team?
