SRCDS Steam group


Lag at end of each round

Hi Guys,

I'm running a CS:S 22 Slots Dust2_Only Gameserver on my dedicated server.
IP: 62.41.26.10:27015

Specs:
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2
Intel Pentium D 3.0Ghz
3GB DDR2 533
160GB 7200RPM

CPU usage is maximum 50%.

Mods:
Evenscripts (only es_hegrenade sound)
Mani-Admin 1.2R
Detox Z-block
SteamBans
HLstatsX

Problem:
At end of each round, when CT or T wins, there is a lag.
It takes about 2 seconds.
Every round!

What can be causing this?

How heavily are you using stats? Are they all calculated at end of round? Just a thought....

The stats shouldn't be the problem, because it is calculated on my webserver.

My gameserver only logs the stats and sent it to my webserver (hlstatsx).

Can you monitor the server when a round ends?
Also what happens on the client? Can you enter the server and set net_graph 3 in the client console, diagnostic tools will show up on the ingame screen now telling you the ping, choke, loss, tickrate, your own tickrate and bandwidth usage.

You should be able to see what kind of lag there is, with that we can search the problem.
