EAHHH!!! HELP!!!, Clients cant download models/skins!!!

OMG!!! WTF?

sv_allowdownloads 1
sv_allowuploads 1
sv_downloadurl etc (all setup)

all models/skins set in proper places, defined properly, nothing misspelled

wrote a script for the files to download
added them to downloads in mani and enabled in mani cfg

the problem.. when u connect to server.. the files "appear" to download.. once in the server theres only giant errors, i check my games directory structure where they should have downloaded.. not there.. search my comp.. not there.. so even though the server stated they downloaded.. they didnt..

for the love of goddammit!, someone help ..

ive even made .bz2 files out of all the files and added them in, still same thing..

Please post the structure + a few names of files on the dedicated server, the structure and some files on the downloadurl and the setting on sv_downloadurl (leave out the domainname, just write mydomain.com or whatever)

ah nm, fixed it lol

the problem? all the folders on the server were write protected.. (clients had no access rights).. just unticked everything and booyah ..

goddam.. cant believe that was the problem .. and cant believe that i was the only one to have it.. and that there is no talk about it anywhere on the web.. well there ya go.. if ya had my prob then theres the fugging fix
