Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a decrease in performance by using the same ip for multiple servers? ie.
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:27015
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:27016
Also, how many servers can you do per ip if it doesnt affect performance?
Thanks

If the machine and connection can handle it you can run as many as you wish (although I heard there's a max somewhere per IP?)
As for a PIV 2.8GHz you won't be able to host more that 4 servers with a combined slots of 10 without decreasing quality

This is my machine,
Dual Intel Dual Core Xeon (Woodcrest) 2.33 Ghz
Windows 2003 Standard
2GB RAM
100Mbps Port
160GB SATA
2000 GB Transfer
So i guess you're saying it's easier on the machine/network to just have separate ip's for each server?
