I won't say your a noob but if you read just a little tiny bit... the answer is very simple 3 lines:
1. download and extract the latest version (http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com) into the cstrike (or whatever mod you run) folder of the SRCDS.
2. go to the now created addons folder located in the cstrike (or whatever mod you run) folder, there you will find a CreateVDF.exe file, double click it , create it for the mod you are using.
3. go to your server.cfg located in the SRCDS\yourmod\cfg folder and add the line: exec mani_server.cfg to it

done Smile

all you do is download the latest version (the full install NOT the updated binaries) then unzip it to say c:\temp\mani, when you look in there, you'll see 4 folders addons, cfg, materials and sound. put all 4 in your cstrike directory and you're all set.

there's stuff in each folder but if you just copy the top 4 folders to your cstrike folder then that stuff gets copied in the right place too. after you do the copy do what drocona said and restart the server.

If you really can't get it to work you'll have to face hours of manual configuration:
http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com/mani_admin_plugin/documentation/index.php

go to installation> creating the required directories

that's where to put everything

As the readme tells you, you have to add a LINE "exec mani_server.cfg" to your server.cfg file located in the cfg folder.

Thats the thing, I dont have server.cfg in the cfg folder. I am assuming you are talking about
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\user_name\source dedicated server\cstrike\cfg

?? If so, the only files I have in that folder are...
3 directories
cssdm
sourcemod
mani_admin_plugin

and one config file

mani_server

I see no "server.cfg"

if it's a new install you have to create a server.cfg

and the only thing that will need to go into the server.cfg is the mani line?

i guess you could have just that if you wanted the defaults for everything but you better read this:

ah, I see... there are some draw backs from this mani deal. Im new to the whole server thing, Im really just setting it up for me and my friends to play on. I have deathmatch running, it was one of the main things i wanted. I also wanted the whole audio announcement of a head shot, and multi kill and the such. Anyone know which mod allows for the audio? I.E. Headshot wav played when headshot is made. Also, i would like statsme, and top10 and the such. Any ideas? Also, any ideas on the mod used to make it possible to make your team mates not solid, so you can run through them. IE they dont block your path....
