dedicated server for my mod

Hi. I created Half-Life 2 Multiplayer mod. Now i want to run dedicated server for my mod. When i start source dedicated server it dose not list my mod. So can anybody explain to me how it is working?

What do you mean it doesnt list my mod?

Well I know how to make dedicated server for hl2 deathmatch. I attached the screen so you can see what list i am talking about.

when you right click on the srcds icon in steam, go to properties
then advanced stuff or something, you get a box pop up.
type -game <modname> in that box, see if it works

did you put the mod files in the servers directory? this is needed, then you can run it as I said or it will be listed in that list.

No I did not do that. What server directory and what mod files?

I moved my mod to server dir and it showed up in that list. I tried to start but it says that server.dll is a debug build. So I need to recompile my code. But that's another story so thank you very much for your help. Coming back to building my matrix
