The registering of the server is still one of the unknowns, sometime it just seems to be perfect while another server with the exact same specs doesnt work at all. It's just real weird, I have no idea how to tweak it or whatever.

do your fps flutter? tried limiting em to 500fps? you have the power of your system to handle it. i have 100% rego on my server and its a single p4 1.7ghz o/c 2ghz 1gig ram slow hdds. and i hold 250fps and where i shot i hit.

FPS hardly has anything to do with registering shots/ammo/movement.
It seems to be the connection and distance to the server which makes the difference.
Also after some extensive research I came to the following conclusion:
The server works with "slots". When you join a server you go into slot 12 for example.
You can't shoot shit, your aim is fine but the register is just really bad. (I had a score of 5 kills 20 deaths)
When you quit and join the server again you now connect to slot 13.
Now you can hit everything perfectly fine, not problems at all. (My score after rejoining 10 on 2)
Why it is like this, I have no idea but it looks like the engine isn't really that "fair" at all.
It really does matter, just try it some time.
