What Was the Hardest Part of Learning to Fly IFR?

Instrument training seems to introduce a completely different workload compared with basic VFR flying. What took you the longest to become comfortable with—instrument scans, approaches, holding, weather decisions, or communicating with ATC?

I realize this is from a while ago, but I wanted to chime in. For me, the hardest part was trusting the instruments when my body said otherwise. That lean feeling in the clouds during a hold made me second-guess everything. What about others—was it the scan, or just the mental workload during approaches?

Consistent practice through a solid ifr pilot training program helped me build that confidence
I personally used the resources at ifr pilot training to reinforce those scan habits and found it really made the difference
