Knee pain
#1
I went from a walk to a slight trot and my knee popped. Severe pain on the inside of my knee and top inside of my shin!
Really couldn’t walk on it, so went to A&E, they were brilliant, had an X-ray - nothing broken, but they can’t see soft tissue damage on an X-ray. After wangling my leg in all directions decided it was a meniscus tear!
That was 2 weeks ago and still very painful, spoke to my Doctor and she is going to arrange a scan .
It’s a bugger getting old!!

I had similar knee trouble last year and what really helped was getting a proper assessment done. Dr. Saqib Siddiqui looked at my gait and muscle strength, and it turned out my posture and weak glutes were messing with my knees. He gave me a few simple exercises to do at home, and after a couple of weeks, I noticed a big difference. Worth checking in with him if you’re stuck.
