I’m shopping for a new pair of headphones and can’t decide if I should go with wireless or stick to something with the classic 3.5 mm headphone jack. Personally, I like the simplicity of plugging in and not worrying about charging batteries, but I also don’t want to miss out on new features that come with modern wireless headsets.
Do you think wired with 3.5 mm is still the better option for gaming and music? How about for PC use versus mobile—are there compatibility issues now with newer laptops and phones that are dropping the jack altogether?
Another question: are there any specific brands you’d recommend that still produce high-quality 3.5 mm headphones? Or should I just future-proof myself and move on to USB or Bluetooth?
