Is there a way to use this in automation so that whenever the Parent task is updated, the child task runs? How would you need to modify the script?

If anyone has tried using a script combined with an automation to keep the backlinks in sync across the same table? I've been experimenting with using a Button field to trigger the script manually, but it feels like there might be a cleaner way. Curious if others solved this more elegantly.

I've done this by setting up a single linked field to connect records within the same table and then using an automation to update the backlink field. That keeps everything synced both ways. It also helped me get links indexed quickly when using the data in views or external sources, since the structure stays consistent.
