Cleaning carpets with paint drops?

Would it be possible to clean carpets with paint drops and stains on it?

Are there special detergents or machines for the clean?

Best to seek advice from a carpet cleaning company as to what can be achieved, also it is not that expensive to get a company in.

I tried scraping the dry paint blobs off first with a blunt knife, then gently dabbed white spirit using a cloth, which loosened the stubborn bits without wrecking the carpet. Afterwards, I called in https://southwestcleaners.co.uk/carpet-cleaning/ for a proper clean, partly because the carpet still had some marks, and they managed to get it looking almost new again. Worth it if you’ve got paint that’s been sitting a while.
