Camping in the backyard
#1
Hi!

We were supposed to have a spring family trip but my wife and I decided to postpone it. We don't want kids to be utterly disappointed that is why we decided to have a camping trip in our backyard. Fortunately, we have a spacious garden with some bushes and trees so as long as we come up with exciting ideas, all should be fine. I am looking for a tent suitable for children, a night in the tent is going to be one of the attractions. I would like them (twins age 8) to put it together but I am not sure if it is possible. Could you advise, please? What tent could I purchase?

I would try Decathon if you are planning the camp out to take place after April 12th. They are perfect for this sort of thing. If you'll be doing sooner check out the website.

They have lots of pop up tents which are very reasonably priced, no putting together as such but there is still lots to do with inflatable mattresses etc. so they won't lose the whole experience.

Sounds very fun. Enjoy!

I’ve been using waterproof rooftop tents for SUVs for a while now, and they’ve been a game changer for trips. They’re super easy to set up and keep everything dry, even in heavy rain. If you’re planning a road trip or just need extra sleeping space, they’re a solid option. Just make sure your SUV can handle the extra weight, and you’ll be set for a comfortable adventure.
