Medical Marijuana
#1
I’ve smoked dope all my life but this is a whole new world to me. I got a prescription using my autism as an excuse, and I bought some medical marijuana. Very slightly cheaper than what I was paying on the street, AU$200 gets me 30 grams instead of just an ounce. It’s a good smoke too.

The doctor prescribed me two different kinds and said one was for day time and the other for at night. I’m still experimenting with them both, they’re both different but I don’t see how time of day applies to them. Both are 19% THC, Sativa for day and Indica for night according to the doctor.

It’s handy to have different strains of weed though, if you’re smoking the one kind all the time you get desensitised to it after a while. The doctor also recommended that I buy a vape machine for it. I was dubious but I went home and read up on them a bit and then I bought one.

The vape doesn’t burn the weed, as you suck on it you draw heated air through the weed turning all it’s oils in to vapour. That way you get all the goodness without the nasty tar and carbon. The first time I tried it I thought it wasn’t working, I couldn’t feel any smoke going in to my lungs. I tried it again, it still seemed like nothing.

Then I got out the vape’s user manual and as I started reading I realised just how stoned I was. It’s good weed.

I’ve found that different strains have really different effects, so it takes some experimenting to see what works best. Some people do better with edibles, while others prefer vaping or smoking. If you're looking for accessories, smokeday.com has a nice selection of glass pieces and other tools that can make things easier. It's good to start with a low dose and go slow to see how your body reacts.
