Segmenation fault
#1
Hi, I'm trying to run a CS:S server on my debian machine.

But it always crashes after a few seconds after someone connected.

Server error without -debug:
Quote:/home/css-1/steam_dir/srcds_run: line 426: 914 Segmentation fault $HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the /home/css-1/steam_dir/srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
Fri Jul 14 13:43:25 CEST 2006: Server restart in 10

Sorry Drocona, I believe you are refering to a different' problem. It sounds like Dr-Saar is having a problem with something I've seen just now: at the end of a round when new players have connected (even bots on my server), the server segfaults. The problem you are linking to invovles the server not even starting due to dumb SSE requirments.

I'm not sure what would have changed to cause the server to segfault, I've not updated from a stable run.

Edit: I had the same problem, I first thought it was VAC since the rollback I'm using has vac problems. A system update and a reboot of the server seems to have fixed the problem :-/
