server is out of date!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

ok i turn the serveron and it says "serveris out of date please update and restart" ok i need help explain how and where i get the update ty!

Do the same thing as you did when you downloaded the server.. Then It updates your files (have to be same folder)

Really, Valve commes with small updates for the clients all the time, most of them you won't get a "update news" about. What it looks like is that vertex don't have the new update of the srcds installation. and for you that don't know were to find the tut...

but seriously though, just re-run the updatetool (what you used to download and install the server in the first place) and it will update your server.

as soon as i press hldsupdatetool it says checking boot strapper then it says getting version 17 of hldsupdatetool then it goes downloading
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ then it cuts out with out it updateing plaz help

Don't double click the hldsupdatetool, run the command through the CMD prompt....run the same command that is posted here in the Tutorial section.

Cant he just add -autoupdate to his start command line.

I think -autoupdate is redundant when it comes to windows installations.
