Hldsupdatetool stops downloading

Hi i'm trying to make a Counter Strike Source server but when i try to download the files through Hldsupdatetool it pauses at "Checking/Installing 'Base Source Shared Models' version 4" and doesnt continue even after a few hours.
I'm using:
Windows 7 64 bit with 4 GB of Ram

Try to restart it
And if you update it with -verify_all - I think you should try to remove it then.

I've tried restarting it a few times already, every time it just gets stuck on "Updating Installation" and doesnt change

Try to run it as an administrator. Some times it can take a while for it to start if your disk is slow.

Tried that too, didnt work. and i dont think my disk is slow.

Can you post the command line you used?

What do you mean another game? Cause i only want to make a CS:S server

Just wondering if it were a Counter-Strike Source specific issue. You can for example download HL2: DM, it's a small installation and easily cleaned up agian.

I think it will also happen in HL2 DM cause the problem is "Base source shared models", which sounds like its with all source games

They are abit specific for each game. But you can also copy your game installtion over in the SRCDS folder and then run the HldsUpdateTool.exe agian. It's the same files, besides some server and client files, which it will overwrite upon installtion.
