Hey Guys,
So I was trying to compile a custom kernel based off this tutorial: http://wiki.fragaholics.de/index.php/EN:Linux_Kernel_Optimization
A big problem for me is that I use ConfigServer Firewall to manage protection against people trying to take down my servers. Problem is, when I am compiling I always have issues where I don't select all the right netfilter options to compile into the build and it ends up causing CSF not to work. Is there any type of tutorial or rule of thumb to enabling the right modules for iptables to work correctly?
Would help me out a lot when compiling the new kernel so I can avoid those issues. I don't want to start enabling and disabling things I have no idea what they do you know?
Thanks for your help!
