got the Dlink DIR-655 wireless router. and my conncetion is low. and drops when someones on the wireless headset phone. any advice on what can be the best settings for a maximum connection. other then bringing the router closer

Well personally I don't like Dlink Routers. I always seem to go for LinkSys thats why I have 2x WRTG45L with DD-WRT on them But in regards to your router can you increase the transmit power anywhere in the settings?

its already at its highest.. any suestion on the issue with the signal dropppin while using the phone. someon told me to change it from channle 6 to 11 or vise versa. but that ended up in major lag so i had to change it back

I didn't read your question properly It would be the frequency the phone is on being to close to the one the wireless is on. Just do trial and error with the different channels and see which one works.

i dont get it.. cuz i mean. i see other wireless networks avaiable soem guy using a G router i see i get excellent signal but he has a pw on his .. x[
but the wirelessN on my own home doesnt get 2 bars. and the phone is right above the copmuter having the issues.
