I still find it hard to believe a corei7 will fit in a notebook. And if so, it's probably not a notebook as notebooks tend to be small, but with the I7, must be one huge ass laptop, and it being huge, who wants to lug around a 30 pound laptop?

laptops like this aren't really meant to be lugged around, they are more or less highly transportable desktops. probably a clevo chassis? they are one of the few oems who dabble in this space.

Great deal but I went with a Dell due to the rebate program the government is offering in Australia for students, they are going to give me 50% back

It only weighs 11.55 lbs. with 12-Cell Battery.

So its really not that heavy.

It is a clevo, but re-manufactured for us. We have added 2 more drive bays, internal padding for shock resistance and more.
