Lol that's right, I saw SirTiger online today, first ever for me lol.

Guilty as charge, I am preparing a migration to a newer MyBB version. I've been working low profile on technical stuff (hosting, bugs, forum SEO) and the (neverending) site overhaul. On the foreground Drocona and the mods did a mindblowing job coordinating stuff.

It's in all honesty amazing to see what the crew and experts have achieved. Even with VALVe having server forums and Wiki's, we still have a neutral and strong community.

Yes indeed and good job to all the mods and helpers and you of course for doing that, and to everyone who makes up this community.

It must be great to leave a set of forums one day with under 300 people registered, and return with over 10,000 members. Way to go SirTiger!

Only your account will be removed. Everyone else will be fine.

lol, I have no clue. I'm just in a trolling mood, clearly.

I'm not sure about MyBB but when u upgrade phpBB, you wipe all members, and posts

OrganDonor · (This post was last modified: 04-14-2009, 06:57 PM by OrganDonor.)

^^^^

what about the information contained on this BB does it mean all the tutorials will be lost ?

Sad

**trewq** · 04-14-2009, 07:05 PM

Use your common sense why would he even bother upgrading it if everything would be lost?

OrganDonor · 04-14-2009, 08:54 PM

b/c of exploits and hacks ?

**realchamp** · 04-14-2009, 09:20 PM

No. It's a like a Counter-Strike: Source server. When you update it, only the BASE files will be changed.

Not the files containing posts, users etc.
