Question on slots

I know this is getting old but from what i can tell i need to know if this information is correct.
Processors - 2 Intel Xeon E5335 @ 2.0GHz
RAM - 8 GB

A customer bought a 24 slot 100 TIC Pub and i put it on 1 core assuming that it could work. They experienced a little bit of lag when the server was full at the beginning of each round so my best guess is about 20 slots @ 100 tic per core. Any thoughts?

The beginning lag could be from low fps, bad network, and bad boxes.
But from the specs you gave me, it should be fine, so check his rates, fps, and most importantly CPU PRIORITY, and also his maps...........

Make sure you have the server set to high priority.

That CPU should do what you are asking fine.
