Unless you have his voice on record, and proof that's him saying that, I don't think its enough to sue. That's pretty much your word against his.

But once again I still think that this is a fake threat and will not actually happen.

I would shut down the server for a week or so, and close up those ports on your router and computer. DDoS attacks don't last very long, but they can happen at any time.

Just do an IP ban on him.
The guy's not going to DDoS your server. And even if he does, your IP will prob notice it before you. DDoS attacks produce a LOT of bandwidth.

OOOOH: What's this: Outbound Traffic Blocked - NAT out failed UDP 192.168.1.3:2875->89.145.117.189:27016 on clink0
Outbound Traffic Blocked - NAT out failed UDP 192.168.1.3:2875->90.184.145.170:27013 on clink0
Outbound Traffic Blocked - NAT out failed UDP 192.168.1.1:1900->239.255.255.250:1900 on br0 <- This one did it atleast 20 times in the same second...
Also this happend... but? Nothing is wierd...: Firewall Setup Configuration change WBM user Unknown (0.0.0.0) has changed security settings
I don't see anything wrong though....
Also... What would it say on the logs for a DDoS?
Also: The router's model is MI424-WR... How do you block IPs on it?

For a DDOS you are looking for inbound traffic coming from the same IP over and over again.

Thanks I'll keep an eye on that...
But no one has told me what DDoS does...
What will it do? Hack the servers? Lag them?
Tell me please!

It will use up pretty much all of your bandwidth, crash servers, etc.

Sends the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again, until something fails and crashes

so basicly is an over flow of data that will crash a server, isn't there a script that blocks overflows? i think it was called block crash.
