Create a server.cfg file inside cstrike/cfg and enter this into it:

Code:
// Maximum updates per second that the server will allow, increasing this will take more cpu power, 100 is max
sv_maxupdaterate 100
// Frame rate limiter
fps_max 10000
// CMD rate
sv_maxcmdrate 100
sv_mincmdrate 0
// Update rates
sv_maxupdaterate 100
sv_minupdaterate 0

Now make sure -tickrate 100 is in your startup line and start it again.

startup line should be..
C:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map de_dust2 -maxplayers 16 -autoupdate -tickrate 100 +exec server.cfg

yes. you create a txt document within your cstrike/cfg folder and just save it as server.cfg

THANK you so much for the help, but i still get the same error

is there any other way to check if the server is 100tick? 100tick is the same thing as OUT/in right? so you should have a 100out? and mine is om 63-70ish

Make sure your own rates is set to 100TICK and also the server's rates.

-Make sure you setup your startup line properly.
e.g. -game cstrike -console +ip 0.0.0.0 -port 27015 +maxplayers 16 +exec server.cfg +map de_dust2 -tickrate 100

-Make sure you have a server.cfg file in your cstrike/cfg directory.
And Ensure the following cvars are in this file... -FPS max should not be 10000

sv_maxupdaterate 100
sv_maxcmdrate 100
fps_max 600

-Make sure you enter the following into your console (while in game - one by one)
-You open console by pressing the ~ button in the top left of your keyboard.

cl_updaterate 100
cl_cmdrate 100

If these are all correct, you should obtain 100tick just fine.

Enter these in your ingame console

Code:
cl_updaterate 100
cl_cmdrate 100
rate 25000

Now also make sure they are the same on the server.

Code:
sv_maxrate 25000
sv_maxcmdrate 100
sv_maxupdaterate 100

THANK YOU! so much for the help Big Grin i have now gained the legendary 100tick on my server ^^

tho one problem still remains, i see alot of random guys joining it so it is out there on the internet, but when i give my ip to my friends they cant get in :/ gets stuck att connecting to server and fails after 4retries. guess ill have to do some portforwarding for something?

No no, you're giving them the wrong IP.
http://www.whatismyip.org is the IP you should give them.

Well if other players are connecting, then it would seem your ports are fine. But make sure the ports are forwarded properly, and make sure your giving your friends your external IP and the proper port. In the server list, under favorites (I think..), see if you can find and add the server yourself.
