now that is tcp and upd right? cuz both of them have to be open for i think just about all of them...

and mcafee can get in the way of a lot of things... try closing it and runningthe server and having other connect to it.. you could try adding your external ip too.. cuz no matter what ull have to connect to the internal.. and everyone else will have to connect to the external.. thats what i have to do with my server.

try typing +console bla bla bla +ip <yourinternalip>:<yourport>

"Yourport" can be any port you have forwarded.

You can add your ip config to your server.cfg

//IP
ip XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:XXXXX

BUT for some reason if you try to add your external IP to the run line or the autoexec it will always crash your server.

Try just using -port XXXXX in your run line to set the port and then you can set your full ip with port inside your server.cfg file. Post here if you have any more questions.

If you'd read through all the posts (even the first one) you could read that he HAS forwarded/opened the port required...

hmm.. well all of this isn't really helping.. i say... just to rule out if its the computer.. or router.. or what? is there anyway to directly plug into the internet??? cuz then you will know exactly whats causing it not to work..being if its the computer.. or router..

and if this computer won't even start up the firewall.. it could very well be just the computer.. i say try the other one that you said you want to run the server on anyways...
