Rock The Vote without Mani plugin

Hi, ive been having a lot of trouble with mani plugin so i was wondering is there any way i can implement rock the vote in my tf2 server without using any mods? like putting something into the server.cfg?

to my knowledge, rock the vote or any thing similar can on be done with mods, also mani admin plugin really isn't recommended for tf2.

you need a mod for rtv. i recommend sourcemod for tf2.

ok, is there any guide for sourcemod that tells exactly what to do for team fortress 2?

they have an excellent wiki that will help you get it setup.

SourceMod or BeetlesMod.
If you want something simple, BM is easier. However SM has all the plugins and tweaks more people want.

Ok, but the server is hosted on pc1...if i install lets say beetlesmod to pc1 will i be able to download beetles mod on pc2 and controll everything from that pc?

the mod goes on the server, then you issue commands to the server from whatever pc you are connecting to the server with. you typically enter commands into the chat box as if you were typing an in-game message to someone.

Every thing is server side so you would only need to download and install it on the server that the game server is hosted on (and install it to the game server, of corse)

ok than you i had problems with mani admin plugin. Is beetles the easiest one to set up? and will allow me to use rtv and such?

Don't know why people think setting up sourcemod is hard.

Just upload that with metamod source, move rockthevote, mapchooser, and nominations out of the disabled folder, restart the server, and bada-bing.
