Tutorial: How to fix lag on a P5QL PRO motherboard or similar motherboard
#1
Cool
As the title says this is a tutorial on how to fix lag when using a P5QL PRO or similar motherboard in your pc.
First im going to tell you fast whats making the lag, it's an build-in powersaving mode, it changes your mutiplier when it think you dont use your pc.

But here is how i fixed it:
Step 1: Go into your Bios
Step 2: Go to the "Advanced" tap
Step 3: Go to "CPU Configuration"
Step 4: Find "CPU Ratio Setting"
Step 5: Change it to what the standard on your cpu is. (( On a Intel E5200 cpu it's: 12.5 ))

If this dosent fix it, your welcome to post and i will try to help you

When ever I've bought Asus motherboards they have always had all the power saving stuff enabled, really annoying but only takes a second to turn it all off Smile

Nice tut.
