linux server issue

why do i get this error message and how do i fix it?

Console initialized.

Error:libsteam_api_c_linux.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I try to chmod +x libsteam_api_c_linux.so but that did not work.

going to try to reinstall cs 1.6 to see if it is a steam update issue. will post back to see results.

If you can provide some information about your server, such as linux dist etc etc.

Any chance this is a high FPS setup 1000+ FPS?

updating cs 1.6 did not help with a clean install, still same error message when trying to lanuch ./hltv

this is my dedicated box setup

linux centos 5.2 (32bit) - 1000hz enable

i am in need of a 100+ hltv (cs1.6) to be setup before 1st week of january. any help would be great.
