Cannot find dedicated server on master server list (unique)
#1
Ok so I'm having the problem where I get the server up and running, I can join the game via LAN, but neither I nor my friends can find the server on the master server list. The thing is, this is what I get when I start up the server

I've opened up the ports and everything (actually I dont know what that stuff is) but still nothing. I turned off the windows firewall and still nothing. I figured that since the command prompt says "connection to steam servers successful" it has connected to the master thingy, but apparently this is not the case. I've used every IP I can find, internal external whatever to try to add it to my favorites list but it says server not found/server not responding. I have sv_lan set to 0 blah blah blah. Whats goin on guys? Im running this on my laptop at my house which goes through a modem, then a router, then a switch to my desktop (gaming) and my laptop (DS hosted). please help! Thank you guys soooo much!

I'm not exactly sure what that means. I went into control panel, security, firewall, allow program through the firewall but that's about the extent of what I did. I tried turning off the firewall but that didn't do anything either. I really have no experience with this stuff. My understanding was that if I allowed srcds.exe through the firewall it would work. When I added port 27015 to the exception list it said it was already there under another program.
