CSS server wont go online without DMZ?
#1
hey i just needed some help with my counter-strike: source server,
this is what my port forward looks like:
# Service Name Start Port End Port Server IP Address
1 HLSteamSrv1 27020 27039 192.168.0.4
2 HLSteamSrv2 27000 27019 192.168.0.4
3 HLSteamSrv3 1200 1200 192.168.0.4
this is my command line:
C:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -tickrate 33 -ip 192.168.0.4 -port 27016 -maxplayers 10 +map de_dust2 +mp_dynamicpricing 0 -sv_lan 0

this is my router:
NETGEAR MR814v2

i can only get my server running so people can join online if i turn DMZ on for my computer: 192.168.0.4

I've poked holes in my windows firewall for 27016 UPD and TCP.

if anyone can see what im doing wrong or have any suggestions please help me out.

perhaps you should open 27015 and 27016 aswell ??

if that dont work .. would also try to open 27000 to 27999 .. then tighten it a few ports at a time ..

of course you should verify your local IP Wink

well did you notice the port range of number 2?
and if he can DMZ it and ppl can connect then he has got the right local IP

3 css1 1200 1200 192.168.0.4
4 css2 27000 27015 192.168.0.4
5 css3 27016 27030 192.168.0.4
Thats what my port forwarding looks like now. not really different.
Thanks a lot. i figured it out, i just opened up ports 27000-27100 and just took away a few ports at a time and got it working. thanks Smile
