Nobody can join my server
#1
Hello,

I tried everything, searched all over the web, read all kind of posts, but stil I haven't found a solution for my problem.
Nobody can connect to my server. I can only connect to it with my private ip: 192.168.2.2.
I have a router and I have opened these ports:

I also tried to open DMZ for port 192.168.2.2.
Targetbox of my shortcut:
Code:
C:\SRCDS\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map de_dust -maxplayers 16 -autoupdate -port
I also tried this with adding the following lines: -port 25015 -ip 192.168.2.2 -verify_all
But it didn't worked with that either.

My server log:
Code:
Code:
64.0 fps  0/16 on map          de_dust
Console initialized.
Game.dll loaded for "Counter-Strike: Source"
maxplayers set to 16
Network: IP 192.168.2.2, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27015

Connection to Steam servers successful.
   VAC secure mode is activated.

And for the people who think I'm a noob.. no.. I had a year ago my own server on CS 1.6 and played with my friends, acquaintances and other strange people.

Hope someone can help me. Smile

Oh, oops haha
There is no BOTH option
But this is what you were talking about, line 8 & 9 TCP and UDP.. that was your point, wasn't it?
(I'm from The Netherlands, my English is good, but far from perfect.. so sorry for miscommunications). Smile

That's odd. Are you sure that 192.168.2.2 is your external ip address? It looks like an internal. Also, you're sure there's no both option?

Thanks for your response, but I'm sure that 192.168.2.2 is my external ip. And i'm sure there is no both option, only a TCP & UDP. Smile

Hello! It is not your external ip. It is the ip you should use when you start the server with the command line. Then to your friends and you'll give out your real ip.

Oh oops, I meant that 192.168.2.2 is the ip of my router.
But I give my real ip (external ip) to my friends 89******:27015 (duh).
But it doesn't work. It only works on my own computer when I use my internal ip 192.168.2.2.
